#2 READ LABELS
Food labels can be very confusing and tricky to understand. Often, we don’t have the time to spend trying to work out what they mean and how to use them. However, a few quick tips can make shopping for healthy food a whole lot easier, quicker and can help you lose weight.
No matter how “healthy” the artwork on the front of the packet looks ALWAYS read the label on the back. When comparing brands, if you simply look for lower sugar and lower carbs per serve, you will be surprised at how much this will help!
#3 GET MOVING
You would be surprised at how good getting moving is for your body. Take housework or yard work, for example, if you think of them as a chance to get your metabolism stoked and burn fat then it’s a win-win!
Little things all add up, even a 20 min walk after work can make such a difference!

Yes, yes! We all know this! The reason is though, that it works. We are not saying to ditch them all together but just start thinking about what kind of carbs you are eating in a day and how much. White bread is the main culprit because it is made from refined grains, which may have a negative effect on your weight. So, certainly keep having your sandwiches, but swap for a healthier bread like 100% whole wheat, Rye bread, Ezekiel bread, or even wraps.
