Inspired by the triple-decker culinary icon, this recipe tastes just like your favourite fast food burger without the carbs and added sugar!

Ingredients

  • 500g Coles 5-Star mince
  • 1 cos lettuce, shredded
  • 1 brown onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup light shredded cheese
  • 4 pickles
  • 2 tbsp Coles special burger sauce

Method

  1. Cook mince in a pan with a dash of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Dice onion, chop lettuce and set aside.
  3. Once cooked, put the mince in a bowl and allow to cool.
  4. In a separate bowl, arrange the onion, lettuce, pickles, mince and cheese to your liking.
  5. Drizzle with burger sauce, and enjoy!

Kathleen's tip: Put the cheese directly on top of the mince so it melts.
