Naked Beef Burgers By Dan & Steph

This recipe comes straight from Dan & Steph of My Kitchen Rules who have made a classic so simple, healthy and tasty!

Ingredients

  • 1 iceberg lettuce, leaves taken off (these are your buns)
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 1 dill pickle, sliced
  • Garlic aioli or whole egg mayo
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 150–200g good quality beef mince
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • good pinch of salt and pepper
  • spray olive oil

Method

1. Add the mince into a bowl, olive oil, salt and pepper, mix well with your hands and make meat patties.

2. In a large fry pan spray with oil, place in the patties and cook until browned well. Turn the patties over and cook until just still slightly pink in the middle, remove and allow to rest for a couple of minutes before building your naked burgers.

3. The lettuce leaves are your buns, build away — meat, cheese, tomato, pickle, aioli and lettuce on top. Enjoy!
