I am 23 years old and live in Wollongong. I weighed 93kgs at the start of my weight loss journey and have lost 20kgs so far on The Lady Shake!
During my teenage years, I wasn’t very active or didn’t see anything wrong with my weight or the way I looked. I would go to work, come home and I was too tired to do anything. I used to eat what I wanted without a care in the world. I wouldn’t exercise or be active and it really contributed to my weight gain.
I had attended the Deni Ute Muster in 2019 and had saw a photo of myself with my partner and I was shocked with how I looked. I wasn’t happy with my body or the way my face looked. That’s when I had decided that I had to do something but didn’t know where to start.
My partner’s friend was on The Man Shake and my partner came home one night and suggested I try The Lady Shakes. I immediately went to Coles and purchased the variety box and was so happy that I did.
My biggest roadblock was my lack of motivation. I knew I was unhappy with the way I looked and weighed but it was never a priority. When I met my partner in 2018, he was my motivation and encouragement in taking the first steps to start to lose weight. I think with the right mindset and the people you love encouraging you definitely helps you overcome those roadblocks.
Before trying The Lady Shake I had tried multiple weight loss shakes and they weren’t giving me the results that I wanted and I was so glad to finally find something that works!
I can look in the mirror now and finally be happy with the way I am starting to look. I can go into certain clothing stores and finally purchase their brands whereas, before my weight loss, I couldn’t fit into their clothes as they wouldn’t fit.
The biggest difference I have noticed (besides the number on the scales) would be that I am less tired and have more energy. I can happily do a workout before or after work and still have the energy to do my daily activities.

My advice would be to start today. Don’t start tomorrow or next week. Start as soon as you get your shakes. If you keep delaying the journey you will never start it. While on this journey, don’t feel discouraged if the number on the scales don’t budge. It may look discouraging and you will tell yourself “what’s the point?” but please keep going. This journey isn’t about just losing weight. It’s a lifestyle change that you will love.
