Kids smoothie

We all know how difficult it is to get our kids to eat their brekky and my girls are the same! So I make them this amazing smoothie packed full of goodness that I wanted to share with you and I hope it helps you too.

Ingredients

  • 250ml water
  • 1 Large tablespoon plain Greek yoghurt
  • 1/2 banana
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 handful of kale (when you add the cocoa you can’t really taste the kale and my girls love the GREEN shake) but if you are worried your kids wont drink it don’t put the kale in first time round and add after they have had a few shakes
  • 1 teaspoon flaxseeds
  • frozen berries (I dont but you can add a few frozen berries of your choice if you want)

Method

  1. Blend up a couple of times so all mixed through
  2. serve in a cup with a thick straw
