My name is Linda Gibbons I am 41 and currently reside in Oberon NSW but originally from Sydney.
I started the Lady shake in February 2020 I have lost a total of 22.2 Kilograms. I am not yet at my goal weight still wanting to lose about another 4 kilograms.
I have always struggled with my weight. Been a bit of a yo-yo dieter.
I ate out of boredom not because I was hungry. My biggest problem was overeating. Overall I just became a very lazy person who loved food a little too much.
I could feel that my size 18 pants were starting to get tight and I did not like looking at myself in the mirror or in photos. I was lacking self-confidence.
My husband and I were out shopping one day and he asked me to buy The Man Shake for him. I went into the chemist and picked up a Carmel Man Shake, then out of the corner of my eye I spotted The Lady Shakes. So I decided at that point I would buy one and see what happens and I have never looked back since.
Recently I tried the Commando 12 week program, which was starting to work but found it too hard to keep up with. I tried dieting by eating healthy foods.  In the past, I have tried other meal replacements but had poor portion control and bad eating habits and it just didn’t work long term.
My lifestyle changed when I actually wanted to start losing weight. I was telling myself when I feel full do not eat anymore, no matter how good the food is.  Learning to eat smaller meals and to eat more regular during the day. Eating healthy meals, make sure to drink more than two litres of water a day, and just be more conscious of what I am eating. I now make time for myself to exercise, no excuses.
Since losing weight, I have my self-confidence back, feel fitter, healthier and happier. I am now a better version of me. I have more energy and sleep better. I feel awesome about myself and love going shopping for clothes.
My biggest roadblock to getting healthier was myself. I normally start things and end up giving up because it is too hard. I had to believe in myself and that I could do it, once I started to believe this it became easier for me. I started to lose weight and could first notice in my clothes, then I could see it. For me, that was more than enough to motivate me.
If someone was out there wanting to try The Lady shake, I would tell them to make the first move to a healthier lifestyle.
Give it a go and believe in yourself.
Yes, there will be ups and downs but take it as it comes and keep going. It will change your life forever.
The Lady Shake has changed my life forever.  The way I think about food now and also make time to exercise. The support from The Lady shake community has been amazing.
Starting The Lady Shake has been the best decision I have made for myself in a while.
When my story was initially shared I had lost 22 kilograms. I have gone on to lose a further 7 kilos which brings my total loss to 29 kilograms in 9 months.
I have met and now smashed my goal weight in October of 2020.
I am super happy and proud to be able to maintain my weight for the last 6 months.
I am now on 1 shake a day, with a healthy breakfast and dinner with snacks along the way and plenty of water. Some days I have no shakes and make healthy choices and continue with the correct portion size.
I am currently exercising between  4-6 days a week. Either by walking at lunchtime, walking my dog or going for a run. This helps me maintain my weight and fitness.
I still have one cheat meal a week.
Since my weight loss, I have been able to go for walks without feeling exhausted after 5 minutes, I am now able to run 5 km, as I have been participating in the Parkruns most Saturday mornings.
I have much more energy playing with my puppy and kids.
No more hiding in pictures as I have self-confidence. I have finally found myself.
None of this could have been achieved without the assistance of The Lady Shake.
